Fibrocel is SMA/HMA additive which made of high-quality cellulosic fibers and bitumen emulsion.

Thanks to its rigit form, it is easy -to-feed.

FIBROCEL’s rigit form ensures resistance against humidity effects.

FIBROCEL is very safe and easy in handling. It is a dense material with advanced flow properties and quick and safe dispersion in the asphalt mixer.
It can be added by means of standard dosage systems.
As the nature of the product and its focused purpose is to adsorb liquids the material may not be exposed to water.

FIBROCEL SLN 10% NATURAL BITUMEN HIGH QUALITY FIBER FOR HMA/SMA

Thanks to its 7% emulsion of bitumen content, it can be easily and faster dispersed in the mixture. It prevents drainage of bitumen. FIBROCEL gets well dispersed in the dry mix before contact with bitumen. The pre-dispersed fibers improve the distribution of the bitumen and the coating of the mineral aggregates. The timing for introducing FIBROCEL during the dry mixing period depends much on the type of mixer, the volume of the mixer, and mix design.

Up to 10 seconds of dry mixing is usually sufficient to disperse the fibers in the mixture.

Main Advantages: Fibrocel is coated with Selenizza SLN natural bitumen. In contrast to emulsion it excludes water or other liquids contents and increases the effectiveness of fiber. Selenizza bitumen content in Fibrocel allows it to bring maximum binding effect to SMA due to faster penetration.
